Course number : DPM-046    Section Number : A3
« back to classes page
Everyone knows the Impressionists, but the rest of art history is a blank for many of us. This one-night overview is a "who, what, where and when" of major art movements, examining how they tied in to the events and passions of their day, as well as their leading proponents and their lasting influence on contemporary painting. This course is a prerequisite for the studio workshop “Drawing from Art History: Creating an Original Artwork Inspired by a Masterpiece.”
