Creative Collisions - Collaborative Culture

Course number : MGT-527    Section Number : A4
« back to classes page

When faced with unpredictable, fluid and complex business situations, why do some teams create breakthroughs, while others fail miserably? Teams that achieve outsized results in disruptive environments do so not because they are smarter, but because they work together in smarter ways. Organizations like Google, KIPP Charter Schools and Navy SEAL Team Six create a type of collaboration based on the optimization of two factors: connection and candor. The results are teams that demonstrate rapid learning, adaptation and innovation. This interactive course will help leaders at all levels build just such teams in their own organizations. Topics include complexity, disruption, kind versus wicked learning environments, collaboration, innovation, candor without collateral damage, unbreakable belonging and diverse culture around a shared purpose.
