« back to classes page
The Constitution of the United States was ratified in July 1789 and has been our governing charter for over 230 years. This was not our first attempt at creating a government, but the U.S. Constitution has proved to be the longest lasting such document in the world. Explore the creation of the U.S. Constitution, the Constitutional Convention, the events leading up to it and the first ten amendments, known as the Bill of Rights.
