Step back in time and explore the thrilling events of the American Revolution. The 250th anniversary of the American Revolution has arrived, and those events of so long ago still shape the way we think about governments, freedoms, rights, and what sort of a nation we really are. Explore the nature and meaning of the American Revolution as we trace the course of events that led to the thirteen colonies rebelling against British rule, including both the enlightened ideals and the economic motivations that emerged from the beginning of the French and Indian War in 1754 through declaring our independence in 1776. How did we put aside our rivalries and differences and challenge the mother country’s right to govern us?
