Building and Fabricating a Drone

Learn how an Unmanned Aerial System (UAS), or drone for short, works and how to make one yourself in this hands-on course. You will be exposed to fabrication, 3D printing and coding. Each student will build a small quadcopter drone while learning the basic principles that govern its construction and flight. Students will be introduced to design software and use 3D printers to fabricate elements of the drone body. Use a variety of tools to assemble the UAS in addition to working with the programming language and code to help calibrate the drone before flight. Complete drone kit included in course cost.
