Build your creativity while forming an understanding of good design and how to apply it. This course is for anyone new to graphic arts or who have recently been assigned a design project. Students will produce a promotional piece such as a brochure, postcard or flyer using the Adobe Creative suite, with a focus on Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator. Take a creative approach to brainstorming ideas while creating a marketing piece that will be ready to use for any business, nonprofit or organization. Explore typography, photo manipulation, copywriting and layout techniques while preparing the files for print and web.
