This hybrid professional prep course offers a foundational overview of the electrical trade for individuals exploring a career in the construction and electrical industries. Designed for high school seniors, recent graduates, and career changers, the course introduces participants to the structure of apprenticeship programs, essential workplace expectations, safety awareness, and the personal and professional skills needed to succeed in the field. Students will complete interactive online modules, scenario-based exercises, and assessments asynchronously, while also meeting one evening per week online with a master electrician for a live content review session. This blended approach provides learners with both flexibility and expert guidance as they gain insight into the responsibilities of an electrical apprentice and evaluate their readiness for further training. The course serves as a gateway to more advanced electrical training and apprenticeship opportunities.
